Why is it important to have a properly designed portfolio? What is an artist statement? Why turn to professionals?For a successful career as an artist, you need the right package of documents: biography, CV and artist statement (manifesto). These documents will help you participate in competitions and programs. Our organization will help you compile them correctly, because without these documents it is impossible to submit to any serious competition.

What is an artist statement?An artist statement is an artist's manifesto, describing his creative approach, methods, images and genres. This is a short document that should be understood in one minute by both you and the selection committee. It is important that it accurately and concisely reflects the uniqueness of your practice.

How to properly design a portfolio?The portfolio should contain relevant work that is relevant to the open call topic or that best reflects your current practice. It is important to show the latest works, and not those created 10-20 years ago. The format can be either PDF or website, the main thing is high organization and quality of images.

Is it worth paying to participate in exhibitions?Payment for participation in exhibitions is individual. Paid open calls help beginning artists quickly build a CV, which is important for participating in more prestigious competitions without payment. Status fairs and galleries also often require an application fee.

How much does it cost to participate in open calls?The cost of participation varies: for beginning artists – from $30 for one work to $200 for several works. For status galleries – from $350 to $700. Payment does not guarantee participation, but correctly executed documents increase the chances.

How many works should you have in your portfolio to start working with us?It is optimal to have about 10 jobs so that we can evaluate and recommend the most profitable direction for your career.

Does an artist need publications in the press?Publications are important for increasing prestige and validating the value of work. Prestigious publications such as Forbes add weight to your name in online searches and increase your chances of participating in competitions and group exhibitions.
